Supports referral
Information may be referred to an appropriate platform, organization, or authority when that is the proper next step.
What SafetyPoint does not do
SafetyPoint is an independent, non-governmental reporting and referral service. It does not exercise law-enforcement powers, make arrests, prosecute cases, or determine guilt.
The public service is also intentionally text-first and does not accept direct image, video, or file uploads.
Designed around simple public access
Public reporting, case tracking, privacy information, and terms are separated from the private staff dashboard so visitors can quickly find the part of the service they need.
